d.        Martha turned off the lights and went to bed.(Simple Past)→Martha didn’t turn off…and didn’t go to bed.

e.        They arrived early this morning. (Simple Past)→They didn’t arrive early…

f.         She was driving too fast. (Past Cont)→She wasn’t driving too fast.
